I came online when I got home from work just now and discovered that I've got 29 villagers in one of my VV2 villages and they're ALL aged 4 and 6 years old - there are NO adults in the village AT ALL!!! Unfortunately, they now have no fire and no food - so they won't last very much longer

Get them children hunting for mushrooms!! This will help them survive until they reach 14 to begin farming.

The thread posted above was mine. Put them on pause when you can't sit right in front of them and hunt mushrooms. When you are babysitting, put them on 2X so they grow up faster. You can make it if you are obsessed about it. You may lose some, I ended up with only 6 out of 18, but hang in there. Be sure you keep at least one male and one female alive too even if you have to sacrifice some others to ensure you can rebuild.

I was very tired after a long hard day at work and by the time I'd found out about the villagers I had to make myself something to eat and drink then it was nearly time to go to bed because I had to get up early for work again the next day so I couldn't follow any of your suggestions - especially spending time getting them hunting mushrooms (although I've done that in the past - thanks anyway keza and tess) and I also forgot to pause the game before I turned off my computer so unfortunately they'd all died by the time I checked on them the next morning .

Aww I feel bad for you. I have done it too but it was when I had to go into the hospital.......
