Hi, can someone help me fix this? I've been playing the game since it came out and totally love it. I just added a new tribe
and have been plaing with getting them built up. I haven't messed with anything on my computer as far as tim or anything and have done no modifications as some people have mentioned. I've just changed the speed on the game from half speed when Im at work to double speed when Im home. All of a sudden now some
of my little villagers are heads only with no bodies. It started out as just one on one tribe but now my older tribes are getting filled with them too--Help??!!

It sounds like one or more of the image files in your game folder have either been deleted or become corrupted. The easiest way to fix that problem is to reinstall the game, which will restore all of the image files.

You should follow the procedures in this post to back up your savegame files prior to doing anything, just in case anything goes wrong.

There are other ways, of course, to restore the image files, including copying the originals back into the game's image folder. If you're comfortable with such things, you can check with one of the people on the forums who make mods and find out if they've packaged the original images into any of their mods.

kind of disconcerting to see my little ones start walking
around without bodies--especially the little kids and nursing
moms--really wild when they got excited and started hopping
up and down--looked like my village was overtaken by ghosts . Thanks for your help and my little tribes are back to normal!

i needed help and it worked. i uninstalled then reinstalled and my tribe is still here!

it took me a million tries to get as far as i did. i got an elder and i am starting to uncover the ruins.
