Event #1 - A Mighty Storm
Description - A typhoon struck the island during the night!
Outcome - All of the stored food was washed away.

Event #2 - The Bad Little Monkey
Description - A monkey ransacked the research table.
Outcome #1 - Your tribe loses xxxxx research points.
Outcome #2 - Your tribe loses all of its tech points.

Event #3 - The Good Little Monkey
Description - A monkey mixed up the ingredients on the research table. Somehow though, he accidentally made some very useful discoveries.
Outcome - Your tribe gains xxx research points.

Event #4 - The Greedy Little Monkey
Description - The villagers discovered a monkey trying to steal food from the storage bin. While chasing off the monkey, they discovered he had been hiding a large cache of bananas.
Outcome - Your tribe gains xxxx food.

Event #5 - The Plague of Parrots
Description - A giant flock of wild parrots flew over the village and ate many of the berrries!
Outcome - No berries left

Event #6 - The Storm
Description - A bad storm hit Isola overnight and a bunch of debris washed up on shore again...
Outcome - The beach is going to have to be cleaned up again.

Event #7 - The Fish of Fertility
Description - A spectacular, luminous fish has appeared in the lagoon. The villagers believe this is the holy Fish of Fertility, found only on Isola. According to legend, any couple who sees this fish will have many children.
Outcome - Your village has gained fertility.

Event #8 - The Angry Monkey
Description - One day mischievous little xxx was teasing a monkey, but the monkey had enough and savagely attacked him/her.
Outcome - The health of that villager dropped.

Event #9 - The Measles Epidemic
Description - One day little xxx was playing outside when he/she began to feel quite ill. Before long all of the children in the village were overcome with a virulent pox!
Outcome - All children become ill (?)

Event #10 - The Child Prodigy
Little xxx has always been a strange and troubled child. But then one day, he/she wandered over to the research table and easily solved one of the mysteries that the skilled researchers were unable to master! Little xxx is a master scientist! And your tribe gains xxx research points.
Outcome - That villager become a master scientist.
Gain xxx research points.

Event #11 - The Helpful Honeybees
Description - The honeybees from a large, nearby hive discovered the village berry bush and have begun harvesting nectar from it. As a byproduct of their labors, the bees have done an excellent job of pollinating the bush, causing it to thrive.
Outcome - The bush filled with berries.

Event #12 - The Plague of Locusts
Description - A voracious plauge of locusts descended upon your crops! The villagers can do nothing against the millions of swarming insects, except watch in dismay as their crops are completely devoured.
Outcome - Crops are destroyed.

Event #13 - The Barrel O` Babies
Description - The villagers discovered a large barrel bobbing in the surf today. Unlike your average barrel, this one contains toddlers wrapped in blankets! They probably got lost during the exodus that brought the villagers to Isola. Luckily, they found their way here to their kinfolk.
Outcome - Gain a child villager

Event #14 - A Research Accident
Description - While researching an insect repellant, some of the researchers accidentally contaminated the research area with a concentrated plant extract that is known to be toxic.
Should the researchers discard all contaminated materials, which would destroy some research in progress, or risk getting sick? Choice #1 - Decontaminate the area
Outcome #1 - Your researchers have managed to decontaminate the work area, but at the cost of most of the experiments in progress.
The research area is clean
Your tribe lost most of its tech points.

You saved your research, but..
By keeping the contaminated research, your researchers were exposed to the potent extract and have succumbed to temporary brain damage, which has caused them to lose all of their knowledge of science.

Event #15 - A Trapped Whale
Description - Through the morning mist, xxx noticed what appeared to be an unusually large sand bar near the shore. Deciding to investigate, he/she discovers a stranded whale, still alive but trapped in the surf. With high tide still days away, and the sun growing stronger, a decision must be made at once:
Choice #1 - Free the whale
Outcome #1 - xxx has successfully freed the whale by keeping it moist until the tide rose high enough for the whale to swim away. The whale is free. Your tribe has gained spirituality.
Choice #2 - Harvest the whale for food
Outcome #2 - The whale has been harvested. xxxx has successfully managed to slaughter the whale and bring back the bounty of meat, as well as other vital products, to feed the hungry villagers.
Your village has received a 1000 point food bonus!

Event #16 - The Strange Berry
Description - In the course of daily foraging, xxx encounters a plant covered with beautiful, ripe berries. `I`ve never seen such strange berries,` he/she thought. But the shamans have warned the villagers of such unknown temptations.
Choice #1 - Taste the strange berries
Outcome #1 - xxx was instantly killed by the berries, which turned out not to be berries at all, but rather, the eggs of an extremely poisonous variety of sea snail.
Outcome #2 - xxx feels revitalized! In fact, he/she hasn`t felt this good in years... xxx begins to run around in circles and shout with glee!
Choice #2 - Ignore the seductive plant
Outcome #2 - xxx has decided that it`s far too dangerous to taste the unidentified berries.

Event #17 - The Mysterious Crate
Description - In the course of daily foraging, xxx encounters a mysterious crate floating in the surf. He/She believes there`s something inside, possibly alive, or at least it seems like something inside is moving. He/She really isn`t sure if he/she should open the crate or not...

Choice #1 - Break open the crate
Outcome #1 - xxx was killed by deadly spiders inside the crate, which were on their way to an Australian research lab, but had fallen off the boat in transit, only to wash up on the shores of Isola.
Outcome #2 - xxx is suddenly overcome with nausea as he/she discovers that the crate is full of horribly rancid meat. xxx immediately begins to feel very ill indeed.
Outcome #3 - xxx jumps back in fear and distress as he/she discovers that the crate is full of angry, biting rats. xxx, along with the rest of the villagers, is bitten by the filthy vermin. Many are injured by the nasty rats.
Outcome #4 - xxx is delighted to find that the crate is packed with perfectly ripe pineapples and bananas! He/She gathers up the delicious bounty of tropical fruit and happily trots back to the village. Your village gains 200 food points.
Outcome #5 - xxx is delighted to find that the crate is packed with several large sacks of dried rice. He/She gathers up the precious bounty of nutritious, starchy goodness. Your village gains 400 food points.
Outcome #6 - Amongst a jumble of rotted and rusted items, xxx finds a brass tube with paper scrolls rolled up inside.
The papers are marked with mysterious symbols and diagrams. The village researchers believe these papers will be of great aid to their work. Your village gains 1000 tech points.
Outcome #7 - xxx is delighted to find that the crate contains a bundled-up infant! He/She gathers up the giggling toddler and happily trots back to the village.
Choice #2 - Leave the crate alone
Outcome #1 - xxx decides that it`s far too dangerous to examine the mysterious crate, and pushes it back out to sea.

Event #18 - The Visitor
Description - One day a stranger appears in a boat and asks xxx if it`s ok to take some plants and seeds back with him on his boat.
Choice #1 - Allow him to take samples
Outcome #1 - The man gently took samples of each plant that he was interested in, and when he left he thanked xxx and gave him/her a bottle of antibiotics. Your tribe has gained medicine tech.
Choice #2 - Tell the stranger to leave
Outcome #2 - xxx told the man not to touch anything and that he should leave. The stranger was not at all happy, so before he got back on his boat, he sneezed a juicy, germy sneeze directly into the poor villager`s face. A foreign disease swept through your village.

Event #19 - Event The Old Drum
Description - One day xxx was searching in the bushes at the edge of the village and discovered an old drum fashioned from wood and hides. It seemed like there was something inside the drum, because it was very heavy.
Choice #1 - Cut open the drum
Outcome #1 - The drum contained journals of a master healer who lived on the island before! The pages disintigrate as they are turned. xxx has become a master healer.
Choice #2 - Keep the drum to make music
Outcome #2 - As soon as xxx started to bang on the drum, it started to rain! Apparently this is just what the berry bush needed...

Event #20 - The Furry Food
Description - The village food pile has gotten moldy. Remove the moldy pieces Remove the moldy pieces
Choice #1 - Throw out all the food
Outcome #1 - It looks like most of the mold is gone, but a few villagers seem to have stomach troubles.
Choice #2 - Save what food you can
Outcome #2 - Better safe than sorry...All the food was thrown into the ocean.

Event #21 - The Mysterious Face
Description - xxx was relaxing near the edge of the camp when he/she saw a face in the trees staring back! Alarmed, but curious, he/she wasn`t sure what to do!
Choice #1 - Get a closer look
Outcome #1 - xxx pushes into the trees for a closer look and is never heard from again. As xxx approaches the mysterious visage, he/she realizes that it`s only a shy, confused person who seems lost. xxx manages to gain the odd stranger`s trust and welcomes the newcomer to the village. As it turns out, this lost soul is a master farmer and will be a boon to the village.
Choice #2 - Cautiously back away
Outcome #2 - `Better safe than sorry` xxx decides... He/She carefully backs away and decides to try to forget what he/she saw, and never mention this to anyone for fear that the others would think him/her insane.

Event #22 - The Phial of Red Liquid
Description - xxx found a small phial filled with red, strong-smelling liquid. He/She doesn`t know what to do...
Choice #1 - Drink the red liquid
Outcome #1 - Upon opening the bottle, a cloud of red vapor is released and starts drifting towards the village. Meanwhile,
xxx drinks the liquid in one gulp, feeling no effect at all. However, upon returning to the village,
xxx discovers that the entire village has been poisoned by the vapor, except for
himself/herself
Outcome #2 - Upon opening the bottle, xxx is overwhelmed by a symphony of botanical aromas...
He/She becomes dizzy and disoriented for a moment, but then he/she realizes that he/she has somehow aquired complete knowledge of herbal lore and healing.
Choice #2 - Pour out the liquid
Outcome #2 - xxx knows better than to drink strange, unidentified liquids and pours it out to prevent more foolish souls from trying it.


Event #23 - The Phial of Blue Liquid
Description - xxx found a small phial filled with a blue, sweet-smelling liquid. He/She doesn`t know what to do...
Choice #1 - Drink the blue liquid
Outcome #1 - Upon opening the bottle, a vaguely familiar but long-forgotten aroma is released.
xxx drinks the sweet nectar, and begins to feel very good indeed. In fact, he/she hasn`t felt this good in years. Before long,
xxx is running around in circles and giggling like a schoolboy./schoolgirl.
Choice #2 - Pour out the liquid
Outcome #2 - xxx knows better than to drink strange, unidentified liquids and pours it out to prevent more foolish souls from trying it.

Event #24 - The Jar of Yellow Liquid
Description - xxx found a large jar filled with a yellow liquid. He/She doesn`t know what to do...
Choice #1 - Drink the yellow liquid
Outcome #1 - xxx drinks the liquid, and begins to sputter and gag. He/She feels somewhat nauseous. Before long, xxx is feeling unquestionably ill. xxx is overcome with nausea, and begins to heave violently for a while. But then, he/she starts to feel considerably healthier than before. xxx begins to feel a bit better, except for a bad, lingering aftertaste.
Choice #2 - Pour out the liquid
Outcome #2 - xxx knows better than to drink strange, unidentified liquids and pours it out to prevent more foolish souls from trying it
