It has been available in stores since late last year, but not every store carries it. There are a few discussions in the Fish Tycoon DS forum that mention some stores where people have found it.

Okay. Well, I live just south of Oklahoma City and I went to every store I could think of that would have it around where I live, and not a single store carried it. "/ I was sad.
