Im sure i paused my game, but i came back to it tonight and i lost 20 odd people and the one's i have left are sick or weakned , i really dont know what happened.

but on the good side, i finally uncovered the mosaic and got the last piece of the gong, and have the vines removed... after reading some of the posts about the gong, i am a bit hesitant to actually hit it now... im just a scardy cat

i had over 50 people in my village and now i was down to 30 something....made a few more babies since i opened the game before. i just hope that now i can recover the loss, i lost most of my master scientists

Are you sure that your tribe was really paused? The space bar on the keyboard is very sensitive and you may have touched it inadvertently and so it un-pauses the game!
If the fire were not gathering enough, your villagers became sick and died.
Anyway, you are able to continue with this tribe

I did forget to mention that my fire had gone out, , so i think now that you have said that, i figured that is why i lsot so many people
