I eventually had to create a new village after reaching a population of 65 and building all the huts I could. I wouldn't have done this except I want to see puzzle 12.
AND because my villagers are just insanely stubborn. I suggested high-rises instead of these flimsy huts they've been building. I suggested this to them and told them how they could increase the population without using up more valuable beach space in an attempt to appeal to their baser desire of constant breeding. Well, wouldn't you know it, they didn't like this idea because the scientist labor union didn't want to design a way to get proper water pressure on floors five and above and none of them wanted to live with weak water pressure. You're never met such ungrateful villagers as mine! I threatened to wipe them out and get new villagers. The breaking point was when one of them (Tenai) muttered under her breath, "It'll never happen." Needless to say, I felt I had to follow through. I packed them all in barrels and started over with some new villagers.
I love when a solution presents itself.
