So overnight my village of about 90 that has been running for months took a dive. The villagers forgot how to feed themselves (hate it when they get stupid like that) and after starvation set in the only ones left are 18 four year olds. I've got food in the fields, everything fully explored, the gong and all but all I can do is collect mushrooms when I find them and wait for someone to grow up enough to pick crops. I babysat for almost 3 hours last night and dropped down to 11 then put them on pause until I have time today to mushroom hunt again. Don't know if we're going to make it or not.
Keep your fingers crossed!

Right, the problem is that unless I've got the time to babysit and watch for mushrooms, they're going to die off before they grow up. They have to grow 7 years now (they're all six)before they can harvest any other food on their own. Even on 2x, that's 7 hours that I need to sit with them so I have to eek out the time to do that when I can. So, in between, they're on pause.

We made it! 6 of them made it to age 14 and are as we speak becoming top notch farmers! And, the best news, I've got one male that pulled through and 5 females so we can start rebuilding the tribe in a couple years!

And the rebuilding has begun! Two (my male) is quite the happy chappy! Three, Four, Five, Six and Eight are all caring for their little bundles. I gave them all number names when I found out there were 18 of them and these were the numbers that made it through.

Hi I'm new and don't know if this is the right place, but.... HELP!!!!!!! I've been playing this for a week and have killed off 5 tribes. I've been reading hints here, such as put many villages on tech, get to level 2 farming before you turn the puter off.... but yet I open up to carcasses.

ok... I played on "normal" They all started out as children except two adults and one child old enough to work. Can you choose a tech level when you start? And.... how do you pause the game? Once mine paused and I couldn't figure out how to unpause it! Yes, my villagers fished until the algae came... then i put them on coconuts, but once they were depleted they worked on the dam but all died before it was finished. Thx for your help and keeeeep it cominnngg pullease!! LOL CruellaDeCat

You must take care of the health bar of your villagers. If they are tired, bring them to eat or put them on farming, it's less hard. Maybe I repeat myself but I think it's important to have some healers especially when you are not playing. Even if they have some healing skills your villagers will not heal anybody by their own if they are not checked as healer. So you may choose 2 of them as doctor (trainee doctor, it's sufficient) and put them on a task as farming, research etc... They'll work at that, less than the others but they'll do it and if one of your villagers is sick they'll go to heal him. Doing that, I never had a villager dead (except of his old age) when I return to my game! I also try to have finished the dam and to have crops at the end of the first day; and I keep at least one villager on farming. good luck!! (it's late, I must quit)
