Today I rang the gong and was granted "vision." Immediately afterward I noticed over by the graveyard what looked like a ghost, just standing there. I clicked on her, and nothing happened. I was just about to take a screenshot when she disappeared. Is this what happens when the gong grants vision? I've only had it grant vision one time before, and didn't think to check if it meant my villagers had visions of ghosts!

If that wasn't it, it was a very odd glitch indeed.

ok, cool. It just goes to show that there are still surprises in the game, even when you've been playing for months. This is my oldest village--almost 5 months old now with a population of over 100. I thought I knew what to expect!

About how often does the gong grant vision? I normally let my gong charge for a few days before banging it.

I dont know havent been able to get that one yet but keep waiting for it I want to get the ghost one

What event you get when you ring the gong is totally random and unexpected, good or bad, and you dont have to "charge" the gong, every 24 hours you get to use the gong and waiting wont change the outcome because its radom. some people have even tried the save game, reset, and bang again to see if its the same and its different. good way to make sure you dont get a devistating gong event.

I had vision granted twice now.

Ummm, I've noticed that if I wait longer than 24 houts, I get good effects. If I do it at it's maximum, I always get bad ones.

You can ring the gong once every 24hours, the wisdom is random. Great though.

I've been playing this game since it first came out and i have never been granted visions...they don't like me!
