Shalom everyone. It has been awhile since I'd been about. That is because my husband recieved his orders a few weeks ago. Today, he reports in and in 30 days he leaves for Iraq. Needless to say there have been many tears on both our parts.
My beloved brought me both VV1 and VV2 as gifts, but didn't show much interest until I started writing stories about my little tribes. He now has VV2 downloadedon his computer and is taking Isola to Iraq with him along with other reminders of home.
I wish to thank Arthur, LadyCFII and everyone else @ Last Day of Work for the gift of Virtual Village. Ir makes a soldiar's life alittle less lonely.

Godspeed to your husband, and prayers for a safe return to your arms. I hope his little villagers give him some enjoyable moments over there.

Thankyou, Barbara. He just called me. He arrived safe on base. Praying that the 15 months go quickly.

So far, so good. He made it to North Carolina in one piece
