Well Krystal, for being a "Rocker Girl" you seem to be like me and have a variety of tastes in music. Yes, it was the Flight of the Bumblebee. when I was creating it and was testing what I had done that far, I thought music would be nice. As I was watching it, it just yelled out "FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEE". It just seemed to fit. Laurelshere- I did this in Macromedia Flash. I created it frame by frame. 839 of them to be exact. The actual technique I used is called "masking". Its abit hard to put into words what that is but in short, you have a pic on one layer and on another layer above it you draw . Where you draw will let the lower layer show through. Sort of like punching a hole in a piece of paper and putting it on top of a picture. The hole lets the picture show through but masks the rest from view. Keza- Thanks for the 2 thumbs up. It made Obi happy.... He told me so. LOLOLOL

2nd grade? Wow, I must be slow and live in a cave. it was probably about 5 years ago did I even find out what the name of the piece was. I guess I am a little more hardcore than you, maybe. I like heavy metel, rock (todays and classic), metal/rap (cannot stand street rap though). I also like country/western, full orchestral classical (hate "elevator music"), Smooth Jazz, and pop (the kind you can dance to although I cannot dance to save my soul). Speaking of music, I remember listening/watching a film on evelution. Starting with a blop and it manifests into dinosaurs and what not. It was set to Bolero but I cannot find it anywhere. Youtube has something but it starts off with a coke bottle. I don't thing that is the one I remember. It was less cute and was black and white. Then again, it could be that one and I just remember it differently as that was a gazillion years ago. lol.

No, I do not know of Maurice Bejart. I see that he had a ballet company and that he did something to Bolero, I presume it is "Les uns et les autres". I couldn't find too much on the film. If I understand correctly, it was an all male cast and done originally in 1960. I do like this version of Bolero. I think this is a great piece of animation and if you watch it and interpret the film, it is actually quite deep (meaningful) with an interesting story. PART 1PART 2Although it is great, I am not sure this is the one I originally saw and enjoyed when I was a child.

If I understand correctly, it was an all male cast and done originally in 1960. It's ballet Bejart has made and that the moviemaker Lelouch has used in the movie "Les uns et les autres". At the origin it was 1 female and males cast, there is a cast with 1 male and females and the last one is with all male. I like this ballet very much! This animation is very good, the progress is well done!

If you are interested, I made a slight change to my Little Obi and the Magic Pencil animation. It is towards the end. Obi tries to go 3D. You have to watch the whole thing at first but when it gets to the end, watch his head. If you missed it and once it you will see a "rewind" and "play" button. You can press the "rewind" button and it will take you just before the 3D stuff so you can catch it again and you dont have to watch the whole thing again. The "play" button obviously starts the whole thing over again.
I hope y'all like it. Let me know
