So far I am disappointed in this game, I started it a week ago, I got up to 13 people, and than ran out of food and now they all died and all I have been able to get the whole time is 1300 tech points, it seems impossible to get tech points, what am I doing wrong, any suggestions???? I love Fish Tycoon & Plant Tycoon.

It does take some time to acquire tech points. If your people are old enough to work, make them research at the table full time. that should help.... but don't forget to have someone "forage" for food as well!

Try not having any kids until you get another source of food. The more villagers you have the faster the consume your food. And the babbies eat as much as the adults do. Do haverest research!!

Did you switch on the tutorial - it gives you a load of pointers to get started. I tend to start training a couple of farmers and a couple of scientists. Once the food gets high enough to keep them for a while, then I start to change around.

I will try all these suggestions Thank you. I did have tutorials turned on. My next question is do I have to statrt over when all the people die or will some miracle happen and get me more people?

You should just start over and follow the suggestions above. If you focus your villagers on food and research in the early part of the game, I'm sure you will be more successful!

I'm enjoying it. I was surprised by the plant game when I got it and I'm more surprised at what my little palmOne can do with a sim game.

Yes, me too. I'm very pleasantly surprised that this app fits onto my Palm! I love seeing the kids dancing! They're sooo cute!

I will second the love for VS. I had Plant, but this is much more fun. My two fav. games for the palm is this one (VS) and Warfare, Inc. hands down.
