It never happens to me but I would not like that. If he is a little bit annoying, he is helpful for the tribe!

I'm almost certain that all of the events that can cause you to lose the GC allow you to make a choice.

If the GC dies or leaves the village, another one cannot be produced. Island Events can be risky.

after all of the puzzles are complete. you really don't need him.
a while ago, i had an event and i could have caued him to go bye bye. but it was my first game and i didn't want to mess it up.

If i get an event like this i will make sure the GC says his Goodbyes and never comes back

My friend, all that you say is true. He has all of the skill levels, but of what use? If he would teach, tell stories, go fishing with his father, bring flowers to his mama, grow up and share his great wisdom, get married and have golden babies, I would have no problem. For me, he is annoying.

Sure! He is annoying for me too (too perfect, I'm sure he is a little bit pretentious !) but in spite of that, I like him. And he is in the game! Without him, who could open the cave, and without the open-cave, no adventurous villagers and...no VV2!! Ouch!!!
