The last four times I have rung the gong nothing happened. It always worked fine before. Twice it said gives youth - nothing. one time it said takes food- the food number did not change by even one point. another time is said gives food- again no change on the food count.

I ring it every day or two. Have had no other recent problems with the game and everything is progressing fine - expect still waiting to find 4 collectable!

Any suggestions?

Are you sure that you just didn't miss it saying anything or maybe you clicked off the villager when he/she was ringing the gong?

Look at your coconuts-tree or at your crops, it's here that something changes

Kept clicked of the villager at all times. Alway check everything before I ring it- crop time and coconuts. I always want to see what it takes or give and how much. Sorry its an obsession

Hmmm i don't know what else could of happened. Someone will be able to fill you in.

As laurence says, you lost/gained some crops from the field or nuts from the coconut trees. As to the "gives youth", it will have made a villager younger. Which one, though, is random; did you check every villager?

I checked every villager- no one changed. i was looking forward to someone getting a little younger.

Post your gamelog.It might show what happened...

The game log doesn't record anything about the gong, so looking there won't help.
