Hit 90 already

I've maxed out all tech, done half the puzzles, but nothing more than "the baby is reaching for the water" when I put a birthing mom in the lagoon. Am I doing it right, and when it's born, how will I know which it is?

Oh, you'll know!! There are quite a few things that are required for the GC, including several techs and Puzzle 12 (with its pre-req puzzles). You should probably go looking for something else that your villagers can do before you try to produce the GC.

For the puzzle 12, you need the puzzle 11 and level 3 of spiituality! It's a game made up of episodes

Once you have what laurence has sugested when you drag the villagers to right place then should start that puzzle right away.

Got the garden, put a birthing mom in. Does it matter how many babies? And where are the online highscores?

Oh ok ty.. I'm 4th in triplets, but I can't get to that, nvm.

Birthing mom in water, she walks out. I kept her in for the 10 minutes till birth, which seemed to hold it off when that was over. Left her to go, restarted the game, and no msg, no puzzle done.

You don't need to keep the mom in the water; it should happen immediately if you have everything you need. At this point, you should probably check the spoilers thread in the VV Guide to make sure that you haven't missed anything.

Oh the Idol. Which should be done by now. Yep. just stuck her in and he sprang out Only half my village are celebrating it.

Not the best thing in the world but...

BUT: he maintains and ensures the food and health of the village! Of course, there is "parties" again and again, but when there is an epidemic, all the villagers (or almost) are sick, he makes a party and... every body is going well!! Nice, no? I'm sure that it's an error to want to get rid of him. He put a good humour in the village!

Yeah, just got onto a village of 91, with three dead and three sick. Are they supposed to stay still while he summons then for a few seconds?

You must, after all, bring a doctor to the sick villagers that you saw. Or bring them a child, the golden child, for example

Some thing more: villagers with healing skills never heal some body if they are not select as doctor (except if you bring them). So don't forget that when you quit the game!

Completed the game in 242 hours (tenth puzzle). I'll move onto the next one :D.
