I'm just burying my first adult, after being unable to heal. My one healer/master scientist, whenever I put him over someone Weakened, it gives the mate messages. The one that died was just weakened, not sick, what am I doing wrong?

Also, is there an irc channel?

edit: And eating made no difference to the bar in "detail".

You can only heal villagers whose status is "Sick" on their details screen. The health of weakened villagers can be improved by making them eat at the food bin and by switching them to a less hazardous occupation. Scientists and builders, in particular, suffer far more on-the-job injuries than other professions.

I always have the healer option checked in the detail card of my healer when I'm healing someone.

That wouldn't help in this situation, since the villager wasn't sick.

But these are going from Weakened to dead, am I doing anything wrong?

edit: o.. atm all I have to do, is get tech points, and uncover the lagoon, which is taking hours.. The web one was so much faster.

You're not doing anything "Wrong" but if you want to make them better, make them eat or put them at parenting or something less hazardous NOT RESEARCH OR BUILDING. Exactly what LadyCFII said.

Is it your suggestion when this happens, a weakened state, to let the person eat and forage? I would assume that foraging would be less hazardous and allo them to gain their strength.

Yes, let them eat and switch them to either gathering food or studying medicine until they've regained their strength.

I thought that bringing a weakened villager to eat doesn't change anything. You must only set him in a easy task (healer is a good idea) and wait that he regain health. The same for Elderly villager. But may-be I'm wrong.

Bringing a weakened villager to the food bin to eat does improve their health, but it doesn't show on the health bar until you do it several times. Depending on exactly what their current health level is, it could take up to 8 times to see the bar change, but it will improve noticeably.
