It will be awhile before you'll see VV3. There's a discussion about it here.

welcome I am 46 years old and also enjoy the game. I never thought of it like a doll house and the people - What an interesting concept. Since my kids are grown - it gives me something to do with my oldest grandchild who is only 3 years old.

Welcome cb. 57? Wow, a real live Esteemed Elder! ;-) Thanks and in real life too I got my game today and what I expected to happen from the demo until I bought the game is that they all had died. But I started over using the Monks guide and I feel comfortable leaving them alone tonight. I've been running it at 2X but will change that before I turn off the computer tonight. I have one villager who's is the only farmer I have and she works all the time either farming or researching on her own ( she was a gather, then researcher and now a farmer). My question: can she work too much? there's only one other villager who works almost as much as she and he's a builder. I don't want her to have any children yet. But I do have a new 2 year old and the first child is almost old enough to train. I'm thinking of training her to be a farmer and give my first farmer a rest and have a baby, if that's a rest I feel secure that they won't go hungry. How much further in the game should I be before I have another baby?? Thanks.

Since my kids are grown - it gives me something to do with my oldest grandchild who is only 3 years old. I guess I wished they were animated, so I wouldn't have to do everything for them. I'm loving this game!! as I feel more comfortable, I'm going to start another village on a different difficulty level, when I have a day to devote to getting them started and with enough food so I won't have to worry about them when I'm not watching.

57? Wow, a real live Esteemed Elder! ;-) Humph. I'm even older than that advanced age. I don't have the skills to be an Elder, though. I was useless at Science at school and the back yard is a mess; I definitely don't have green fingers. I can't see any fun in fishing, either. I'm useless at DIY and know nothing much about medicine. Finally, I've no kids or parenting skills. I'd be a pretty useless villager, all told.

Why don't you name one of your villagers after yourself and make them an elder, for the thrill of vicarious living? Is that a subtle way of telling me to get a life, Barbara?

Smileycons is one of the best out there, and they guarantee that there is no malware, but they aren't free. There are significant limitations in the trial version.
