Are there cheats for this game? (Not that I would use them)

There is a program called village editor and villager tool box where you can edit any of your stats (food, tech points, tech levels and so on.). It has been posted in this forum. The threads have been locked, so that will make it a little easier for you to find them.

so far i didn't see anyone play high difficulty

It's very challenging to play on high difficulty, but it can be done.

may i know if the game speed fast means 1 year = 1 hour in real-life? how about low and med?

Just completed my first game at Hard level - I started about twelve, so these stats are for posterity. No time warps or cheats.

Game varied between fast (sitting in the cradle beside me), slow (actually doing some work) and pause (catching some zzzs).

Current population 65, current food level 1446 - I was concentrating on getting the last of the tech so they went a bit hungry - but then given how hard it was to keep them fed, they're used to growing weak from hunger.

I think I might leave it to run on fast overnight with everyone farming - just to see how high I can get the food level
