Is there an age limit to how old a viliager can have a child?

3 villiagers died over night, and all three children grew up, leaving no child to pick things up.

The rest of our villagers are in their late 50's and early 60's. They refuse to have children. Is this because they are too old?

For clarity, the age limit for mothers is 50. Men can father a child up until they die. This applies to VV2. In VV1 there is no age limit, in case anyone who reads this is only playing VV1.

Great question. I was wondering abou that. But, if all of your women are above 50, then you better hope for the event to happen where there is a baby in a crate and hope it's a girl.

Well I have one of them games going. Just started a new game Tuesday. I started with only one lady and one of the children was a girl as well. Well thus far I have had kids and all of them have been boys! The original lady is not 58 and the little girl is now 34. She still has time to produce a girl, but I'm starting to get a little skerrrd!
