How about the shipwreck, not just wood debris, of a sailing vessel. Maybe the villagers could make hammocks out of broken sails where mothers could swing their babies.

Anasha I like the teacher idea and more choices to customize the villagers. It would give us more options instead of just: building, farming, healing, parenting, and research.

An idea (This might have already been posted) to be able to marry two villagers and have a wedding. And then when they're married, they spend time together, and don't have babies w/ anyone else, except each other of course.

I definitely think there should be animals in VV3. Besides the parrots, of course. Weather and day/night cycles are cool. But I'm sure someone has already said all this before.

Bring back the outfits with the red shoes for the males as they had in VV1. Now in VV2 mails only have the gray outfits with dark shoes. At least there are more viriety in the clothes.

I would like to here the huble bubble of chatter in the background like in real life in a working inveroment added on with the other sounds. I like hereing the cheers when they are celerbrating in the current game of VV2.
I dress the mail Esteemed elders in white and the females in yellow

I would like to see diversity of the skintones, have the option to choose, or have their skins get darker as they age and breed as islanders are not so pale from being in the sun all day. Also, I would like to have it so it does not take so darned long to build up tech points [And that is AFTER you waste tech to buy science! -grrr] Also can you bring back the golden child like VV1?

I'd like to see more interaction between kids and their parents in VV3. At present the mothers drop their kids (rather absentmindedly) at age 2 and have no further contact with them. The fathers have even less contact.

Here's one scenario I thought of:

Every now and then a kid will start to run around with the action line "Looking for mother (or father)". When the kid finds her/him, the action line changes to "Found mother/father!". The adult kneels down and kisses the kid. Perhaps they could gain a little parenting skill as with teaching/telling a story.

The kneeling and kissing are already actions that villagers can do, so I'm sure Arthur could program this into the game in half an hour. ;\)
