Hello all!

Just found this forum, and all of the topics, hints, tips etc. have been very useful so far, so many thanks. Now a question for you all that I haven't found answered elsewhere yet...

I'm on my second village; this one I'm working really hard at running properly, so absolutely no time-warping, and I'm being so fastidious I'm even keeping a family tree of my villagers!

All of the puzzles are now completed, all of the tech is fully researched, only two more collectibles to go...

But, ever since reaching this stage, and particularly since banging that wretched gong and wiping out firstly all of my tech points, and then secondly all of my food, I've noticed a strange new quirk that may or may not be a glitch in the programming...

My mothers are now nursing for in excess of 250 minutes, my crops are taking in excess of 330 minutes to reappear, collectibles and msuhrooms appear hardly ever, the younger villagers take about twenty attempts before they learn a new task, and my tech points are being earned at such an impossibly slow rate it's almost like being back right at the start of the game before any advances were made in science tech.

Anyone else had this experience? It's decidedly odd, but I'm determined to carry on until I find at least the last 2 collectibles I need, and hopefully until I get the 50 max totems - and if I'm brave enough, I want to bang the gong at least one more time in the hope that I get the graveyard vision, seeing as I've not had this one yet!

Go to the menu screen, click on Options, and see what game speed is set. It sounds like you've changed your game speed. Everything takes longer at the slower game speeds. \:\)

<Cwej bangs head on desk in frustration and disbelief>

Hmm...so I can master 12 puzzles, amass 100 villagers, plot a family tree...and I completely fail to check what game speed I'm playing at!!!

Thanks, Barbara :)(I promise I'm not as thick as I sometimes seem!)

Good news is, at least I found my missing pebble in the meantime...just a seashell to go!!!
