I just got hit by some infestation that wiped out more 2/3 of my villagers and more than 3 million units of food!!! I can't believe it. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any suggestions on how I can recover food quickly, but also be able to regrow my population before my villagers become too old to have babies?

I find shooting down the game for a bit and when you come back you should have quite a bit of food. The best thing for your population is to get them females and males and kissy kiss kiss.

I had an event in vv1 that lost me over 8 millions food!!!

I will give that a try to see if it works. I hope that this isn't something that happens again. I can't imagine how long it must have taken to get that much food back. I really don't want this village to die.

Dump every villager old enough into the ocean to fish and watch them closely, dragging any that walk out without a fish back in again to try again. Your food stocks should soon start to climb to a safe level again.

I can't offer much better advice on repopulation than keza's - get them kissing! Make sure as many women of child-bearing age as possible are set to parenting so they'll contiue to have babies while the game is closed.

At what age are the women too old to have kids? My villagers don't become elderly until they are in their mid 60's or so, but once they turn 50 or so they seem to stop having babies. Do you know if there is a specific age when they can no longer have babies?
