At what point does watering the field finally pay off? I've got the lagoon and my villagers water, but nothing appears to happen. When will this work?

it takes a while, I won't remember exactly how much, but it's a puzzle and its important.

Lol i found it was the first time i did that puzzle it got annoying, after campleteing a few other games i found it less annoying.

I do remember it took a long time, but I don't remember it being annoying, because it was mostly when my village was closed down. How long has it been so far? (Days, not village time) and what speed are you on?

It's important also because the builders's skills increase during this time and, later, when my villagers are old and tired, I put them in that garden and they go for a little walk around the village "enjoing the garden"
