What are the population caps for the number of huts? I know that you have to have the first one after the originals built to get past 7 people, but what about after that? And how do you build more huts??

After the first hut is finished, your tribe can grow to a population of 15. The second hut allows your population to expand to 30 villagers, and the final hut allows your population to grow to the population limit of approximately 90 villagers. The foundations will appear when they are needed, usually when your population is about 2 or 3 under the limit.

If you get twins/triplets, I believe your population can get to a max of 92 people.

It can actually go higher than that under certain circumstances. I've had populations of almost 100 villagers without any sort of cheating.

Do you get 93+ population from island events?
