My daughter (Emily, "8" years old) and I absolutely love VV2. It may be too late for radical ideas, but this just must be said. VV2 has so much untapped potential. A major let down of the game so far is that it really has very little challenge to it. When all the puzzles are solved and technology bought, one sits there and thinks, “there has to be something more!” VV3 would be wise to consider more challenge in the game, so that one would have to work very hard to actually “do it all.” A person should have to “not have a live” in order to achieve even 80% of the games potential. I was very disappointed that 100% was attainable with so little effort.

I kept looking for “something else,” but never found anything. This is a crime! Once, a note popped up and said that 6 of my strongest villagers were taking off in a boat to find some other place. They have still not returned! Where did they go?

But, if VV3 wants to be a real hit, it will make everyone’s villagers available to everyone else’s villagers “ON THE WEB.” Imagine the possibilities! Commerce between villages! This idea has unlimited potential and it’s the responsibility of the Villages to create new technologies and possibilities and realities. It could be kind of like “Second Life,” but instead of being singular people, everyone is governor of their village.

That is enough genius for one night. Please send my royalties to my agent

Floyd

Hey what about a...few exotic creatures like a Banaion half banana half lion! That would be cool to find in the forest!

yeah same here, maybe if you are master parent then 25% chance of triplets, and adept parent 25% twins and trainee 25% of a baby.

First off I'd like to 99999999th the suggestion to stop villagers from breeding with their parents! It's a bit gross. I'd also like to see the villagers "know" who their relatives are parents, offspring, siblngs, and behave differently towards them. Like hugging them or parents scolding their children and stuff like that.

Also, I think kids should gain a small amount of skill points by watching the builders and researchers work. As far as I can tell, in vv2 it only looks cute and doesn't give them any skill and it should.

Also, I add to the many people that would like more things for builders do do after the buildings have all been built, maybe fixing huts could actually have a use and give more skill points, like an island event damages some buildings and they need to be fixed.

ALSO I think that after you've learned a certain level of tech your villagers should be able to build a daycare and you could assign somebody to watch all the pre-weaned children for a while so that their mothers could get some work done rather then standing around being useless for 2 game years. Maybe they could leave them in the daycare after the first game year so they could get back to work a year sooner then otherwise. Maybe the daycare could also serve an an orphanage for babies who's mother died while nursing rather then the babies disappearing into outer space.

I also like the idea of a village log so I could find out exactly what my villagers have been up to while I was asleep/at classes/ whatever.
