I try dragging a child in the ocean and it just says the child cant swim and shoves them back on land.

try putting them on the little strip of land above the lagoon, when they get bored they will walk right over the water to get to the main land

I have not seen the golden child raising the dead. I did get the poperlation up to 96 once I don't know how it happened, but it was there when I opened the game.
