I was wondering if the programmers made twins often give birth to twins on purpose, or if I just have a pair of unique characters.

I have a pair of female twins in my village. It's a small village I'm trying to build up in population, so I have these women get pregnant fairly often.

Almost all the time, one or both of the women have twins themselves! I know that being a twin in real life can be genetic, but I was wondering if the programmers made it happen that way in the game - just seems like a very detailed detail to bother with. (But then again, so is greying hair and the villagers have that!)

Has anyone else's twins usually had twins themselves? I haven't kept track of whether it's the same twin all the time or if it changes. One of the side effects of dressing twins identically even as adults...
