Are you sure that all 3 of their skills are master and not that one off their skills is still adept???

I had the same problem..I didnt realize you could only get 50..what a bummer!
My only question is then if you can only get 50..how do the leaders on the leader boards get over 50.#1 has 56?
Also since I have 50..why am I not showing on the leader board?.
I know questions,questions,questions..lol

To get over 50 esteemed elders you need to have a specific island event to happen to a village elder. But what is the odds of that island event happening to your elder??
LOL And you are not ranked on the leader bored because everyone on the leader bored has 51+ elders. For your crack to be on leaderboard you need to just have a villager master 3 skills and hope that specific island event happens for you.

How many elders do you have? There is a limit of 50. Oh no, at this time, I don't have any elders, but I have ALOT of totems, could very possibly have 50??? I'll have to count.

Look on your stats page, you don't have to count the totems.
