Is there a method to breeding? For example, I noticed that I have a lot of babies with farming talent and that could be because while I was away, most of my people ended up being farmers.

If I wanted to breed more researchers, let's say, do I make sure the woman is a researcher or does it have to do with the man? Or is it the one who does the initiating? Or is it just random?

Supposedly the children do gain their skills from the parents, but I have not worked out in detail how. I assume it may be to do with the stronger talent that the parents have.....but then I have had babies born with no inherited talents, and was told that this was genetics as well....just like the real world!!!

It seems to depend entirely on the mother. The first gen I had both girls doing research and the guys farming and all my kids started out with one research bar always.

I'm not sure about that. I am sure I have had mainly builders, and use them to mate to develop more building skills.....and it has worked, but I haven't tested this theory out very well up to now
