Suddenly all my healers gathered in village center and went round and round in a whirlpool. They each said they were healing someone. I finally had to drag them away from their conference one by one.

I wish I'd taken one. I was sort of mesmerized I'm afraid. I noticed that vortex of about 20 people, gaped at it for a while, then I discovered they were all Doctors healing some figment. All I could think of was what if someone actually gets sick and all the docs are tied up this way.

i've seen that happen a lot, did you just open the game or just move to that spot on the map?? they could have just healed someone and that person left, so there still milling around , or my doctors seem to get stuck just north of the hospital, when ever i have an empidemic and everyone goes to the hospital after i'm done healing everyone i notice that there are a lot of doc's going in circles above the hospital. hope that helps

Yes, that's where the throng was, just above the hospital. Did the crowd break up on its own for you? It looked to me as though they would be doing that forever if I didn't drag them away.

These pathing problems only happen when the game is open. You can "rescue" the villagers by dragging them away, switching to another game slot then back again, or by closing and reopening the game.

Another good spot for traffic jams is near the love shack. If you've got several villagers set to parenting duties there can often be a crowd of them marching up and down.
