my village was devestated by rats

the majority of my villagers were ill, and i had no trained healers because they all died overnight

i picked up one of the few healthy villagers to ring the gong, meanwhile i'm chanting, over and over under my breath "gong grants health, gong grants health, gong grants health" then i'm yelling "GONG GRANTS HEALTH" because it did, and healed almost every single one of my villagers

the gong did what i needed it to do!

i call that a miracle


has anyone else had moments like that???

Wow, you reall were lucky. Usually when I get the rats, I use my kids for healing.

i normally do too, except my parent died overnighttoo, and i had no kids

poor village was in bad shape when i checked in on it, but now they are healthy, happy, have a roaring fire, plenty of food, a couple of villagers newly trained in the art of healing, and an eager trainee hoping to become a master parent

I had just completed the gong and looked round for a villager to ring it for the first time. I chose the now-elderly female who had fallen down the waterfall at the beginning. She was a master in building and research, but had little chance of becoming an Elder as she had so little time left to go. The gong granted her knowledge, filled up her parenting bar, and made her an Elder, exactly as I had hoped, and as she so richly deserved.
