When I put an older villager next to a kid to try and start teaching the older villager's action says that they are embracing & then I see a message that says "This villager is still too young". Why is that? Am I missing some secret on how to get an adult to teach the children?

It usually works better with a trainee parent, and are you sure the "older" villager isn't under 19? The teaching should work with villagers older than 19
