So i'm a little new to this... but i think i have it down pretty well.
I have a population of 7.. i have three huts.. and over 400 food.
When i drag them together they'll "go indoors" and they're breeding skill will go up.. but no matter how many times i try no baby!
And i've tried using all different combinations of villagers.

I don't know what to do.

sometimes its tought but itll work, i promise, some villagers just like to be stubborn. keep trying, worse case senario, great parenting skills. but it can take awhile.. just curious when you do this is there any kind of message at the bottom, like "their too hungry for this" somtimes if the food is low they wont breed babies but skills will rise. what level of fertility do you have? if your at level one, maybe try getting level 2 if you have the tech points, that will help alot.

there are population caps that are dependant on the number of huts you have built

until you complete the first hut, you will not be able to have a population higher than 7

Eyeshigh, she states she has three huts, so I think Terina hit the nail on the head. She just needs to keep trying. I remember on couple had to try over 30 times before they got a baby! If they were not so long, I don't think they could have lived through that experience! ;0

I think the three huts she is referring to are the three existing huts at the beginning of the game. The tipoff is the population of 7. I'd be willing to bet that the first housing hut is not yet finished.

I'm sure you are right. It's been tooo long since I started a new VV1 game, I forgot about the hut by the farm. So yes, she needs more housing.

If I were you, I would get all the farming first. Make sure you've buiilt the first hut. hope you uncovered the well, for drinking water. Can't think of any more, unless you ask again.

Yeah If the 3 huts your talking about is the love shack and the long house and the original (allready started) hut. then your at your max population and you have to get that builder on, you cant force the next living huts, they will start it when their ready, but make sure the builder is set to building. im not sure if they will start the hut if their not on building, ive never noticed cause ive always got the builder on that skill. so just be patient they will start it when they are ready for more villagers.

In all of the VV games, the foundation for the first hut is already there, and the hut is partially complete. You only need to let your builder work on it.
