How much should I price my plants? I can't raise enough cash to buy bio-organic soil and the like, anyone knows why? I usually price my plants between $15-30 regardless if it's common or pollinated plants.

I always spend the first part of a new game of Plant Tycoon raising only common plants with the highest value, and I wait to start cross-breeding until I have better soil. Some common plants will easily sell for more than $40, and it doesn't take too terribly long to raise enough money. There's a pretty good discussion about early game strategy here.

It would be a bad idea to sell newly pollinated plants. You would have pollinated them, and have probably sold them before they get seeds. I woiuld suggest waiting until you get at least 2-3 seeds from the pollinated plant before you sell it.

You can also afford to raise your prices to about $10-$15 HIGHER than you would normally if you have 15 plants for sale. PLants also sell faster if they have higher health.

Barbara,
The link above doesn't work for me -- could you please post a new link? Thanks!

Many of the links posted before December 2006 are now broken, due to the installation of the new forum software in early December. Unfortunately, the conversion wasn't perfect, and we just don't have time to find all the broken links and try to figure out which post they were pointing to. You might try this thread. \:\)
