So far I have about 45 villagers, and not too long ago, some of them started dying. I have to admit, it was kind of sad to see the "patriarch" and "matriarch" of the village die, especially when the man could have lived a bit longer if I had upgraded the hospital sooner. At least he was an esteemed elder.

Another thing that was sad for me was that one of my original children loved to run, and up until she hit the "elderly" mark, she would run everywhere. I would put her on tasks like building new huts and stuff because I knew she would work faster than anyone else. Once she hit elderly, she started walking just as slow as the other elderly people. That was depressing. Plus her hair and stuff reminded me of my daughter. It would have been nice instead of making her walk slowly, to just make her walk regular speed since she loved to run all the time.

I'm sure i'm not the only one who gets a bit sad when their villagers die?
