Hi all. I am new to this site and just wanted to say hey!! I have been playing V V 2 for a while now and still get frustrated about the Elder thing. I don't get how you get more then 50. I have read a bunch of posts and the only thing I know is that it is some kind of Island Event. So anybody who knows, is it wise to always have a few Elder eligible players going at all times after the initial 50? Any way I love the game and get so addicted to playing that I can lose hours at a time. Looking forward to Plant Tycoon. I have been wanting to play that. Well have fun everyone.

you are limited to 50 unless you are lucky to get a certain random event pick the right option and your elder will be cloned...eg makes 51 I have never had this event but some have so its asll luck , and goodluck!!

As far as I know, Jenna, the event can happen to any adult villager - their previous skills, or lack thereof, have no bearing on the likelihood of the event occurring.

I've also heard it can happen to any adult villager, but I've never had it happen to anyone. Ever. Oh well, but it's amazing how some of those guys on the high scores have 53, which means they must have gotten the event three times to an elder. Guess they've been playing a long time. LOL.

It can also happen to kids..had that event happen to a kid more than once.

I've had that event a few times, but unfortunately before I had my 50 maximum, or to a non-Elder villager, so none of my games have ever gotten more than 50 Elders.

My theory is that those on the Leaderboard with more have been playing with the saved game file to try again over and over until they get the events they want.
