I've never seen an adept parent (no matter what the other skills are) fail to "teach." (But I'll watch for that...)

I have seen adept parents have the action "telling a story", or non-adept parents "teaching" as a regular non-work task. i.e. they find one villager to interact with like in VV1. But they don't earn parenting skills from those tasks.
