Indeed it is. Love your pic better than the one I got from the program file. When I bought both games, I cheated a bit by making copies of all the puzzles et al so I could figure what was what. Congrats on your totems. They are a neat part of the game

Are totem patterns random, or do they correlate with elders of a particular set of abilities?

their random, i tried to figure out a pattern, but nothing jumped out at me, and there was one person who had to restore their game back a bit and the people that had become elders after that point, when they got their totems again it was the same totems, so its obviously determined at birth of a villager and you just have to bring it out. so oit all depends on the villagers you pick to be elders.
