[SPOILER] Boulder - How long did it take?

How long did it take for your Golden Child to decide to move the boulder? Maybe I'm just being impatient but I don't think so.... I'm playing Village Sim on my Palm TX. I have solved the other 11 puzzles (long ago), maxed out my population (well, it's down a little right now but I had 65 people...I'm at 52 right now as several have been dying of old age), gotten every level of tech, and have more food then I could ever eat. I've left the game playing on fast for several days and on slow for several more. I've played in the world some but, frankly, at this point I'm bored. There's nothing more for me to do except for the boulder to be moved which I've read the Golden child will just randomly do. Looking at my puzzle info and stats, the Golden Child was born at 134 hours, the Treasure was discovered at 179 hours (it was the 11th puzzle to be solved). I am now at 540 realtime hours played. Is something wrong here?

For me it happened immediately after he was born. In fact, both events happened at 1433 hours.

most people have the gc remove the boulder near enough after he's born. I would hate it to take more than a day.
