My orginal villagers say weakened and some of them have their health slowly declining. There is plenty of food and noone appears to be ill. Am I missing something.

How old are they? What levels of research do you have? These will both contribute to your villagers level of health (or lack of health), in addition to the available food supply. When your villagers are still relatively low-tech, especially in the area of medicine, they aren't as healthy (generally) and don't live as long.

Building, Spritual and Harvesting are level 2. Everything else is level 1. The ages range from 36-42. Would it do any good to train more healers or just try to accumulate tech points to get them to the next level? Any suggestions which tech I should advance next?

It's always a tough decision which technology to go for next. I usually opt for the ones that will help my tribe survive, and postpone the others until I have more people. It all depends on how you like to play the game (and how dangerously 'close to the edge' you like to be)!

Doctors only help villagers who are actually sick (and show that they are 'sick' on their details screen).

My favorite villager is getting to the point I think she's going to die soon. She is the best healer (figures) and her life line is in the red. She's almost 60, so that's probably not too bad since I still have level 1's and 2's for just about everything.

Yeah, I get attached to the little people, too! You should have heard my reaction when my favorite villager died while nursing a baby.

60 years old is pretty good for the stage of the game that you're in! Good job!!

how awful!!!! She had better not breed again before she dies. That's really sad!! And to think this is just a game....

I'm begining to wonder.... it's becoming a mini-obsession with me!!- BTW, my favorite villager just died. They had a little funeral for her.

Such is life on a remote island . . . Maybe you'll find another favorite?
