I'm no programmer, and I realize that some of these ideas may be entirely too complex (huge) to do, but here are some things off the top of my head.
It would be good to see more action - such as a village event every (real) day. I haven't seen many events at all.
Could the children (or others) find vials of liquid around the island, like they find the mushrooms? The vials could be magic (drink it or not?), or could contain messages (with information, about other tribes, codes to be cracked [by the player]), or chemicals used for research to gain tech points... There could even be a "collection" of vials to be found, like butterflies.
Night and day would be cool to watch(either real-time, or faster - every couple of hours would be good imo). Some villagers could sleep, some could be nightowls researching by the moonlight, taking a moonlight swim, embracing or eating...
What about some place to put the lazy people? Could there be crime and punishment? Trials by the elders? You're sentenced to beach trash patrol for thirty days.
What about occasional decisions made by the elders (as an island event) regarding skill to be bestowed on someone (This villager improved at farming! Master Farmer), or regarding what skill the villager must master first?
Will there be different/additional skills in VV3?
Some kind of economy - bartering, money? Trade with outsiders who land on the shores of Isola? Some villagers choose to leave, some new people ask (player decides yes/no)to stay?
I also think that livestock would be great - put some meat in those stews lol! Action:Turning roasting spit Also, it would be intriguing if there were more "effects" from different stews - gaining weight, losing appetite (doesn't need to eat for days), more energy/speed (used for work), age changes (forward or back), or changes in likes/dislikes - after eating stew, master scientist suddenly dislikes research, must retrain in something else.
