Help!!! Elder Probs

When I checked in on my villagers this morning I noticed that one of them is at master level in 3 fields and yet isn't listed as an esteemed elder. I decided to work my way through my villagers and see if there were more and sure enough the next person has the same issue. Dunno if there are more yet....It's gonna take a while to work my way through them all to see. Anyone else had this prob or have any clue what causes it or how to fix it?

Ok, so I've made my way through all of my villagers now & there are a total of 10 that are messed up. Any help would be very appreciated. :-)

How many elders do you have? The limit is 50, except under rare circumstances that you can't control.

Wow, I feel like an idiot now. I have 52. Guess I can stop cracking the whip on my poor little guys now. No need to stop cracking the whip! They just aren't trying hard enough to reach elder status! Make them work harder! lol

My graveyard is full too!! I have the max amt of villagers, all the collections, puzzles, and now elders, but I JUST CAN'T STOP I'd say the time has come to start a new game in another slot. By all means keep checking up on your villagers, but you'd be more fulfilled by a new challenge.
