I have gotten all the way to level three farming and have never had an alge bloom. Now all of a sudder I have master scientest dropping the alge eating fish in the ocean and I can't get the puzzle piece to complete, even after they have dropped more then 20 fish in the ocean. What's wrong and how do I fix it?

Send a bunch of villagers to catch fish, which will trigger the algae.

I had a village where the algae never appeared.

After I got Level 3 Farming I sent them to get the algae-eating fish and they "cured" the problem without it even showing up.

This is in the guides section, but since you're new here, I won't blame you. Highlight this blank space to see how: Once you have level 3 farming, drag many villagers over to the pond and they will start gathering algae-eating fish. Keep dragging more villagers to help until it's gone. But if you just want a hint, you need a certain level of farming technology.
