Arthur's diary at http://www.gamezebo.com/2006/11/virtual_villagers_a_developers.html (mentioned in the "sneak peek" thread) mentions as one of the top five requests "Ancestry info (who begot who)".

He doesn't actually say he's including that enhancement, though.
