When you pick them up, that is. They all say something. The kids have some of the best, but what they say changes when they grow up!!

One of my faves was a little girl that said "WHEEEEEEE" when you pick her up. And then I recently had a little girl that said something like "blue!" when you picked her up! Now I have an adult male that says "Hey." Not "HEY!!!!" just a nonchalant "Hey." LOL

I think it's really amusing when a boy is picked up to act as a doctor, and he fails to cure the villager on first attempt. When he is picked up he says "Whee!" or similar in a child's voice, but when he fails he'll say "Nope!" or the like in an adult's deep voice.

I have one game that has been running for 600 hours and I just heard the cutest sound effect, someone is whistling!! I only heard it when I was up around the coconut trees, but it is so cute.

That cool. I don't think I ever heard that sound.

Doesn't the whistling occur when the island event of "Isola Day" happens, and they all go off marching up and down the beach? If it's not that particular event, I think it happens during a similar one.

I have heard the whistling quite a few times. I haven't really paid attention to what was happening ie. particular event. (I will now though!)
But I love it!

I've heard the whistling - but not associated with an event. It does happen when you're in the area blue777 described, but I don't think it happens until the game is pretty advanced. I remember being surprised by it because I'd only heard the wind chimes before

I looked into it, and the 'whistling' is really a bird! Whenever you go to the uppermost corner on the left you'll here it because you are nearer to the forest.

P.S I now have a guy that says "Hey," in a deep voice. More like "Hauy,". He sounds like he's sulking about something!

While there are bird sounds in the game, the whistling sound being talked about here is actual human whistling.

Has anyone else noticed owl sounds up near the graveyard in VV2?
