Hello!
I bought Fish Tycoon and Virtual Villagers last August for my Palm PDA from Handango. I enjoyed Fish Tycoon so much that a few days later I ordered it for my Mac directly from Plimus when I saw there was a Mac version through this site. I haven't played on my PDA since as it is a much nicer game on a larger screen!
I recently bought a new Mac Pro (2 GHz Quad Xeon * OS X 10.4.9 * 3 GB RAM * 1250 GB Total HD). I had hoped there would be updates to allow me to play in a window instead of full-screen. I can not switch to other applications when playing the game and did not buy my Mac to be a dedicated gaming machine, so I do not play as often as I would like. I'm also hoping the game has a Universal Binary update. I bought a 23" Apple Cinema Display, so the game is even better than my 15" PowerBook screen!
Also, I have perused the site extensively and did not see if there was a "frequent flyer" discount because I'd like to buy Fish Tycoon and Virtual Villagers for my home PC now. My husband and I play games together on the PC since the Mac is in my office. I haven't found many games that he likes to play, but I'm sure this surprise will be a hit for him. I read posts on this forum that others are playing on multiple machines, but I don't have a problem paying for each computer and platform I plan to play the games on, but I decided it wouldn't hurt to ask for a discount for my multiple purchases as it is not uncommon to get discounts for crossgrades and multiple licenses.
Finally, I wanted to give a copy of Fish Tycoon as a gift but did not see a gift certificate option. What are my choices for buying a game for a friend and having it registered in the friend's name?
These are the questions that have driven me to sign up to this forum and spend far too much time reading all the posts.
Thanks for many hours of fun! I am also hoping there will be a Fish Tycoon 2!
