I agree that everyone is entitled an opinion. I believe the developers appreciate them and give each one consideration. There are some great threads about game ideas, likes and dislikes. You should certainly add your suggestions to those threads. (My opinion? I like the hut but not fond of its placement )

About the tech point accumulation...have you looked at how many researchers you have at the table and their skill levels...these things affect accumulation rates.
