it is pretty random. it is whenever he wants to do it. usually it is within an hour after he is born (at least that has been my experience).

true... i solved all the puzzles that involve the GC first and than he moved the rock for me. now, the GC just annoys me! stupid party after party!

But there are events that will cause the GC to go away. I have a couple of GC-free games. And in another, all of his skills dropped to trainee level due to another event. He still trows parties, creates food, etc. He has saved his game several times, since that is my fishing-free game and he helps with the food supply.

if we could somehow control the parties, the GC wouldn't be so bad
