I have assembled the gong and banged it once..it gave full health for all my villagers.when can i bang it again?i have reached my population limit.what should i do next?how can i find the lost elders?

You can bang the gong every 24 hours.

The stupid gong took the life of a villager.I never expected this.Maybe thats what makes the game interesting.

I have gave up for now , saying that still in hope of the patch coming soon
I had all 50 elders well before I had the gong , so whatever the gong does , "whatever" if it takes food , I have enough peeps to get more, if it takes health I have a few loose docs, If it grants wisdom ? well I aint getting no more totems I got them all well before the hospital was built? so the gong is for fun , and useless in so many ways , unless you
dont get any elders till to get the gong, no wait you need at least one
then just sit and wait, being bored out of your mind for enough tech points and get the last gong piece , whew wow will the game have you excited, I love this game because its a car crash , its got so many faults, its like watching a really bad movie , but you hope it gets better! and maybe it will , but hey I bought it i'm the fool for making someone else rich! hey you have to laugh!

The goal of the game is to have fun. Solving all of the puzzles, collecting all of the collectibles, or just caring for your villagers are all parts of the game. Some like seeing how many different events or gong events they can get, others may start new games as soon as the puzzles are all solved.

If you start a new game there are also many options, different speeds, different difficulties. With the tutorial or without it (in some ways with the tutorial can be more challenging since it takes the eldest female out of the workforce and adds another mouth to feed...) The first two events that occur, and/or whether you have a villager who like (or dislikes) running can make a big different in the gameplay.

But there are also different decisions on game pacing that can be made. Try to solve as fast as possible, or delay in hopes of getting more collectibles? Change the order that you get the tech upgrades? Can you avoid L2 Farming until you have enough points to jump straight to L3 Farming? Does the pacing change if you get the Science upgrades early or get them late?

I started a new game the other day, and I'll admit that I got lucky with starting with a runner (even if she's the oldest female) and two very good early events. So I may give myself another challenge. Can I solve all of the puzzles without building any huts? i.e. keep the village population to 10?

The choices that can be made are unlimited, please don't limit yourself to playing one game and thinking "that's all there is."

I too have different strategies
1 dont buy level two farming
2 keep tribes different, ok I have a stretford wives blonde tribe and a ginger tribe, was hoping for a Black tribe weird that there is no black peeps, actually I;m a tad annoyed about that , Why No ethnic peeps?
3 ,either play for collectables or puzzles, I choose different each time, I got al but one collectable in one tribe just after cutter the briar away , while I waiting for tech points I found all the beetles, yes , JOHN PAUL RINGO and GEORGE i already had all the butterflies and the pebbles , just a shell waiting.... or play to max out the puzzles and elders , doing this, makes the game short I did that in my first tribe, game over in two days or so , so as above said ITS up to you

I just am fed up with this...how long should i wait to unveil the secrets of ISOLA...i suppose the gong was meant for that...IS THE GONG CAPABLE OF REVEALING THE SECRETS ABOUT THE PREVIOUS INHABITANTS OF ISOLA OR THERE WHEREABOUTS?OR should i wait for VV3...

I guess it depends how you define "secrets". The sacred place, the area next to it, where the gong is... aren't those secrets that were revealed as you went along?

You may think that you were the fool for buying the game. But there are very few games on the market that you can play like you can vv for the money you paid.Your unhappy with a game that is doing very well.So someone likes it.And I have been playing the game for quite some time and none of my games have ever bored me, and if you read most of the posts on this forum they're not boring too many other folks either. I am sorry you feel that way.Exactly how long have you been playing? and how many different games have you done on vv?

I am fed up not because the game is boring....but coz i have my semester exams and i have not even started preparing for it...i am drowned in this game..its just my frustration for quick results.. i accept with u.. this is a very good game compared to those coming out now...
