Hello Arthur, Barbara, etc.

I diligently searched the forums and the site for information on the availability of an update to VV2 that will fix some of the annoying bugs (e.g. farmer obsession with coconuts). I did not find anything definitive. Please forgive me if I missed the pertinent info.

When will the patch be ready? Where will I be able to download it (here or BigFish?)? What major glitches will be addressed by the patch? Where will the availability of the patch be announced?

Thank you.

Also 2 suggestions:
1) Ability to skip the intro when restarting a game (if this can be done already, mea culpa).

2) Advanced Option allowing user to program the game to run remotely for x hours, then pause itself until user accesses and de-pauses. I think this would cut down on village catastrophes and the temptation to time-travel through a boring stretch of tech point accumulation.

We are still working on the update and will make an announcement here in the forums when it becomes available, along with the details about obtaining it. Unfortunately, the realities of game development for a very small studio like LDW preclude committing to release dates for this sort of thing. Every time we have tried to give dates in the past, it has only caused trouble. Delays inevitably happen, and it's actually worse to give a date than it is to just keep working on it and release it when it's ready.
