If you set an adult on a child...the adult will tell a story while the child sits and listens to the story. If you set a master parent on a child...the parent will teach the child while the child stands and attends lessons.

During story telling a few other kids will come and listen too. During lessons, most of the village children will come to attend.

As far as reaching the site during play, you can go to the games option menu and turn the full-screen off. Then just reduce the game while you look thru the forums.
